“We’re Going To Push Up Energy Bills To Stratospheric Levels”
The government has a goal of achieving net zero by 2050, which would mean nearly all of the UK’s 28 million households would have to get rid of gas boilers and install heat pumps.
Dr David Bull says he is totally opposed to the policy because of the impact he thinks it will have on working people, saying: “It is incredibly difficult to achieve. The UK contributes to only 1% of world emissions.”
Rupert Darwall, author of Green Tyranny, thinks that the economy is going to be destroyed by trying to achieve net zero. He says: “We are going to push up energy bills to stratospheric levels.”
