‘Taking Donations And Caving To Union Demands!’ | Starmer Faces Cronyism Allegations
Talk’s David Bull is joined by Conservcative borough councillor Harrison Allman-Varty to discuss the allegations of cronyism made against the Prime Minister.
Lord Waheed Alli, who donated more than £500,000 to Labour for over a decade as the party chief fundraiser, was given access to 10 Downing Street despite having no formal job there.
During his time in opposition, Starmer had consistently criticised Conservatives over similar cronyism allegations.
Harrison: “If the Tories were were accepting money from big corporations, I’m sure Labour would highlight that – so I’m not sure how it’s much better taking donations from big unions.”
