Rishi Sunak: UK economy ‘getting healthier every week’, says prime minister
Rishi Sunak has told Sky News that although there is “more work to do”, wages in people’s pay packets are rising, taxes are falling and that people will feel “we’re starting to turn a corner”.
He told Sky News’ Ed Conway that inflation had fallen from 11% when he was elected – and the economy was “performing beyond all expectations”.
