“People Who Do This In The Open Are Pretty STUPID” | Man Arrested For Inciting Violence On Facebook
A thug who posted messages on Facebook about attacking a hotel housing asylum seekers has been convicted.
Jordan Parlour, 28, from Seacroft, Leeds, urged an attack on the Leeds hotel, prompting police involvement after his vile posts were reported.
The hotel manager locked down the building on Saturday as chaos erupted in the city, with stones thrown and a window smashed over the weekend.
While there’s no evidence Parlour attended the scene, he was charged under the Public Order Act 1986 with intent to stir up violence.
The Attorney General gave the green light for the prosecution to move forward, according to the Crown Prosecution Service.
