In our history’: Arrivals data shows higher ‘than ever’ immigration
Shadow immigration minister Dan Tehan says the government is not “getting the message” as immigration arrivals data shows more people coming in than “ever before”. “The latest data we have for this calendar year, from January through to May for arrivals and departures shows there are more people coming than ever have before in our history,” Mr Tehan told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “The first five months on departure and arrivals data has been the highest amount of arrivals we have ever seen in the first five months of a calendar year.”
