Under a new law, the government plans to propose within weeks, trade unions will have the freedom to strike even if most of their members do not vote for one.
Despite a surge in new industrial action, a motion to repeal the Trade Union Act 2016, which establishes legal thresholds for the level of support strike ballots require, will reportedly be presented by mid-October.
