‘I accept your challenge’: PM on long and short term plans for NHS
Sky’s health correspondent Ashish Joshi asks the prime minister about his short-term plans for reforming the NHS.
Asked what he would tell somebody who is ill now, Sir Keir Starmer said: “We’re going to fix this with the first steps, and we’re going to do the long-term change.
“We need to have something to say to somebody who is ill now, which is getting the NHS back on its feet. But we can’t duck the long-term change.”
