| Did Tories ‘Leave’ £20bn Budget Hole?
Talk’s Peter Cardwell is joined by political commentators Jonathan Lis and Matthew Goodwin-Freeman to discuss the £20 billion budget hole Labour says was left to them by the previous Tory administration.
On the issue Peter says “somewhere along the lines someone is not telling the truth” about whether or not Labour inherited the alleged budget shortfalls. Rachel Reeves accused the Tories of “covering up” the extent of the issue.
The Chancellor’s decision to cut winter fuel payments for pensioners is also discussed.
