Rishi’s Wealth Rises To £651 Million In Rich List
Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty saw their wealth skyrocket by £122 million last year, as revealed by the Sunday Times Rich List. The couple’s fortune now stands at a staggering £651 million, up from £529 million in 2023. This massive increase is largely due to Murty’s shares in Infosys, the Indian IT behemoth co-founded by her father.
The Sunak-Murty fortune now eclipses that of King Charles III. While the King’s wealth grew modestly by £10 million to £610 million, Sunak and Murty’s financial leap has catapulted them ahead in the rankings. In 2022, they were already wealthier than the late Queen Elizabeth II, whose personal fortune was estimated at £370 million that year.
